This is your opportunity to obtain a truly rare European Theater Poster from 1922, Cercle Royal Philanthropique is an over 200 year old organization, which still exists today.  This particular poster advertised the production of a Louis Stevenson story:  “Les Gais Lurens”, Bruxelles; which was being shown in Brussels, Belgium.  This stone lithograph color print was made on wafer thin paper and the fact that it still exists is almost miraculous and can be yours for a bargain because there is a piece out of the mid-left edge of the poster (check the scans).  The poster also has freying at the outer edges, but is otherwise in very nice condition.  There has been no color touch or restoration of any kind.  The colors are fresh and stunning and the paper is still supple.  This poster was created by the artist G. Rombaux, Published by Bruxelle, Imprimerie Saint Michel Wellenslagraces in 1922.
